Educational Philosophy & Curriculum


At the Pre-Primary

Education at Adinath is a combination of participation and interaction which makes learning meaningful and enjoyable.

Learning is informal and done through play way method by the use of creatively designed teaching aids/tools, endeavoring to develop cognitive, affective & psycho- motor domains. Efforts are made to concentrate on the physical, mental and emotional growth of the children. Alphabets & numbers are taught using phonetics and songs in an environment using multi-media techniques.

Co-curricular and cultural activities are integrated with academic curriculum. They aim to harness the talent, imbibe moral and social values and keep the mood of the children always high spirited and chirpy.

At Primary

The primary teaching involves learning of concepts through dramatization, role play, experimentation and projects. Activities pertaining to nature, sports, science, literature, art and craft lay a strong basis for the all round development of the little children.

Home assignments are not intended to carry over the class work but orient towards harnessing individual talent which includes story book reading, physical & sports development, general knowledge, civic responsibilities etc.

Students are also given ample opportunities to participate in the co-curricular activities with an objective to chisel their latent talent and sensitize them towards the national heritage and culture.

A disciplined morning assembly is a unique feature of the school which aims to foster secular values, cultivate the art of public speaking and inculcate love for motherland.

Evaluation

No formal examination is given to the pupils. A system of Continuous and Comprehensive Assessment of Oral and Written Assignment throughout the year (as per CBSE norms) has been found effective and accurate method of evaluation which fosters competition with self.
